This initial proof-of-concept for the concept of SNARL was carried out using a number of syllabi constructed by prominent figures in the field of social network analysis. Using this relational knowledgeable-informant strategy for specifying the boundary of the network, and relying upon a hasty and non-robust process of labeling, it was possible to create numerous visual representations of the relational structure of the "field" of social networks. Three of these early visualizations appear below. In the future, this will be a space for updated and much-improved visual representations of many sorts.
